Fun Christmas Events

Here are some more pictures of December fun!

I took a trip to Vero with the boys to hang out with Julie for the annual Damiani  Christmas party.

It was great to spend some time together and catch up.

We took the kids to St. Augustine to ride the trolley and see the beautiful lights.

Zach loved the trolley ride.

This is all the kiddos after our ride around the city.

We had a fun night celebrating with some of our wonderful life group friends!
So many pictures, memories and good times!

Landon's Christmas Party

December 2012

This is Landon's adorable class. These kids have been together for almost two years now. I volunteer in the class every other Friday and have become very fond of all these kiddos. They sang Christmas songs for the parents before we decorated gingerbread houses.

Mrs. Moberly had everything set up when we came in the room. The kids were so excited to decorate!

It was fun watching him make his masterpiece.

This is what he enjoyed the most. Eating the candy and sucking down all the icing. I did not envy Mrs. Moberly's afternoon with these sugar filled students.

Love this toothless little guy!

Ayden's Christmas Program

December 2012

First Baptist Christian Academy preschool put on a Christmas program. I was not able to go because Landon had a Christmas party at his school at the same time. So Daddy went to one and mommy to the other.

It was a special morning for our big guy!

Singing songs about Jesus can make a lil guy hungry. Lucky for Ayden they had plenty of yummy Christmas goodies to snack on after the show.

2012 Wise Men Gift Exchange

December 17, 2012

Every year our church hosts the Wise Men Gift Exchange. The church collects new and gently used toys to give to those in need in our community. You can see in this picture above that our sanctuary was filled with toys. What you can't see in this picture is the room off to the left filled with bicycles. Someone donated almost 30 brand new bicycles from Target this year. I was blown away by the generous people of our church and community.

This is the gift wrap area. It was my job to coordinate and make sure this part of the exchange ran smoothly. Every parent that came through the exchange could choose three gifts from different areas for each child. They would bring those gifts to this station to be wrapped. It got pretty busy but our amazing volunteers did a great job keeping things moving.

This is a picture of the many volunteers and our fearless leader Margaret. She got all of us together to pray before we opened the doors for the exchange to begin. It was such a blessing to be a part of this amazing event. God is so good!!
