14 Months

Our sweet Zach is fourteen months.

  He is not walking yet but close. I just know I'm going to look up one day soon to see him taking off across the room. He loves Mickey Mouse, bananas and his brothers. He says momma, bye-bye and ball.

Such a sweet boy...growing too fast!

Upward Summer League

May 21, 2012

Upward summer league started a few weeks ago and the first game was tonight. This is Ayden's first time playing basketball and he is so excited. It was bitter sweet for me to see both boys playing together...they are growing too fast!

Ayden is still learning the basics but he ran the court the best he could.

Mother's Day

My Mother's day started with a visit to see my Mom before church. I'm so thankful for her and the example she has been to me.

I had a nice quiet rest of the day with my boys.

They had many sweet gifts for me.

Darren spoiled me all day and cooked dinner.

Landon made a special cupcake for me at school. He was so cute trying to sneak the cupcake in the car when I picked him up from school.

Ayden and I shared lunch at a special Mother's day picnic at his school.

These are the special gifts he had for me.

I think I look pretty good for 68...I love that I have

white hair and want to be a Dad when I grow up.

I am so blessed to be the mom to three amazing little boys.

Spring T-Ball

Today was the final game for the spring T-Ball season. Good timing because it is really starting to get hot.

Landon's T-Ball hat somehow missed the ride to the game so Landon did not have a hat for the last game. I found these sunglasses in the car and he thought he was super cool on the T-Ball field.

This is Landon with his best buddy Cole. They have done many firsts together. I'm so glad they had a great first season of T-Ball.

The Big 21!!

Today is Darren's 21st birthday...OK maybe not but I let the boys help me decorate a cake for daddy and I used what numbers I had. I just love the 21 with the clowns:-)

Darren's parents are in town this week so his aunt Mary Ann came

 from Hudson for the afternoon for a visit.

Visit from El Paso

 Darren's parents came to visit this week from El Paso. We are so thankful they have been willing to change their schedules these past few years to come spend some time with us here in Florida. This momma is not ready to get on a plane for 5+ hours with three boys 6 and under.

The boys had a great time getting reacquainted with their Grandma & Grandpa

 Zach was a busy little guy for them this visit.

I LOVE this picture:-) I must have snapped the camera at just the right time. It almost looks as if Zach is saying...I'm gonna be Mr. Grumpy pants if she kisses me one more time!

Darren and I had the opportunity to see Daughtry live

 in Las Vegas a few years ago. We were so excited

to find out he would be playing in our own backyard at the

Times Union Center in Jacksonville.

We had dinner at Bisto AIX in San Marco then off to

 the Times Union Center for the concert.

Daughtry was awesome....so was date night with the hubby!

The Easter Bunny was a little lazy this year. No shrink wrap, grass or bows went in

 the boys basket this year. For those of you that know the Peterson bunny that is her specialty. Busy year busy bunny!!

The boys are always excited to see the baskets full of goodies.

We had a great weekend celebrating the death, burial and resurrection of our saviour. We are so thankful for all He has done and promises to do for us. Happy Easter everyone!

One of my dear friends Kelly from Jacksonville turned another day younger this month. What better way to celebrate....surprise Karaoke party at Dan and Suzie's. This has become a once or twice a year event to celebrate birthdays and we have so much fun!

So glad the hubby could make it this year and was not on call. He doesn't like to sing but he sure can keep Dan and Suzie's big recliner warm watching all the rest of us try:-)

Goodbye Training Wheels

I took these pictures with tears in my eyes. It was so hard to watch my baby take off down the road  with his daddy running close behind. They are growing so fast. I pray that Darren and I always give our boys the confidence to take off in everything they do knowing we are always close by supporting and loving them.....tissues please!!!

Zoo Day

The boys were on spring break this week so we took a day trip to the

Jacksonville Zoo with some friends.

I think Addie was trying to tell Zach to sit back...relax and enjoy the ride.
