Independence Day

July 3- 4, 2012

The City of Palm Coast had Fireworks in the Park on July 3rd. We took the kids to see the show and miss the crazy crowd at the beach for the 4th fireworks. There was a big thunderstorm rolling in about the same time the fireworks were scheduled to start. Scaredy cat mommy called it quits when the boom of thunder was louder then the fireworks. We walked back to the car and found the tailgate of the truck to be the best spot! We had the best seat in the house for the rest of the show.

We headed down to the beach the next morning to celebrate and watch the parade.

Daddy and the boys watching the start of the parade.

Mindy, Mick and the kiddos joined us. Kira and the boys had so much fun collecting all the candy thrown to the crowd.

A rare shot of us all together.

Kira, Andrew, Ayden and Landon waving and patiently waiting for more candy.

When the parade was over we all headed to the beach to cool off.
Zach and Carsten shared some goldfish.

The older kids had a blast playing in the water. It was a fun day spent with friends and family.
We are so grateful to all those brave men and women who serve our country and make days like this possible.

Beach Day

July 1, 2012

We spent the afternoon at the beach with the boys.

Zach did not like the beach at first. He was happy sitting in the chairs and
watching his brothers play in the water.

The older boys headed straight for the water.

They had a great time playing in the surf.

Zach is finally growing some hair and getting those cute curls.

Zach decided the boys were having too much fun without him.

It was a great afternoon enjoying the beautiful beach.
