January Birthday

We kick off every year celebrating birthdays with some very special friends.
Landon with the birthday boy.
Special friends celebrating our babies. They are growing too fast!

Finally got them to stop long enough to snap this picture.

Happy 6th Birthday Curtis!

Bathing Boys

These are a few pictures I took of the boys after a bath. They are around the same age and wrapped in the same blanket.
Can you tell who is who? The answer is at the bottom.

New Years Eve

Every year we try to bring in the New Year with some very special friends.

Zach enjoyed his first New Years Eve with friends.

The guys built a little fire in the back and the kids watched them shoot off some fireworks.

The Gals

The guys

We had a wonderful night full of games, food, fun and tons of laughs.
It has been an amazing 2011 for us. We added a new member to our crew and I can't imagine our family without him. God continues to bless our family and we continue to be ever grateful for his love and grace. Can't wait to see what 2012 has in store for us.

Good times...Great friends.

Our good friends the Browers came over to visit so the kiddos could exchange Christmas gifts.

Our boys met at FBCA and have been best buds ever since.

Happy Boys opening gifts.

Darren enjoying some time with sweet Addie Grace.

Landon & Cole playing with their new DS games.
Good times...great friends!

Pirate Ship

December 26, 2011

Our "little Darren" got a Lego Pirates of the Caribbean Black Pearl ship from his MiMi for Christmas. It has 804 Lego pieces in the set.

He sat down with two magazine size instruction manuals and built the Black Pearl in a day. The only help we provided was keeping lil brother away and busy.

I see another engineer or surgeon in our future!

Christmas

December 25, 2011
Darren and I had such a great night getting ready for Santa. You can see from the clock on the wall we didn't turn in until Christmas morning.

The boys each have a Santa sack and Santa brings three gifts a piece to represent the number of gifts brought for baby Jesus.

The boys had a blast opening their presents.

Brotherly love...I will take it when I can get it:-)

Zach liked the paper and gift bags the most.

We had a great day celebrating the birth of Jesus with our family and friends.
I guess this picture of Zach was how we all felt by the end of the day:-)

Cookies for Santa

Dec 24, 2011
Landon and Ayden helped bake some cookies for Santa.

Ayden was careful to give Santa just the right amount of sprinkles.

Landon did a great job too!

I think Santa will love these little masterpieces.

and he did...Yummy!

The Boys

Dec 22, 2011
Jake and Luke came for an overnight visit during the Christmas break. They live in Vero Beach so we try to get together when there is a break from school. Their Mommy and I have been best friends since third grade.
I think we have some boys that will be friends forever too!

Gingerbread House

Dec 2011
Olivia and Dylan spent a day with us over the Christmas break.

The kids worked together to build a gingerbread house.

They each took turns decorating with different kinds of candy and icing.

The gang showing off the gingerbread house they built.

The finished product:-)

Dr. Davis

This is Dr. Davis. He is the boys pediatrician. Zachary was having his nine month checkup when this picture was taken. He is growing so fast....17 pounds 1 ounce and 29 inches tall. No shots this trip so he was a very curious and happy little boy.

Bible Study

I have spent the last five years studying God's Word with some of the most amazing ladies.

This is our precepts teacher Linda Buckles.
I can't even begin to explain how much her passion for God and His word has
affected my life. This group of ladies never stop praying, encouraging and
sharing the love of Christ. That means the world to this mommy of three just
trying to keep her head above water some days.

Ayden's First Trip to Disney

We took Ayden for his first trip to Disney for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas.

Everything was so beautiful and decorated for Christmas.

The boys had a great time in the Magic Kingdom.

Daddy helped Ayden get his "official" Disney driving license.

Ayden loved meeting all the characters.

He almost made it to the hotel....one tired happy little boy!

Ayden's Christmas Program

FBCA puts on a Christmas program every year. This was our sweet lil Ayden's first time on stage.

He looked a bit scared at first.

The Christmas Story.

Sweet boy!
What you can't see in this picture is the little boy on Ayden's left that jumped all over the stage, stole the mic a few times and stepped on Ayden' s foot. We are very proud of our little guy for keeping it all together with all that going on:-)

Ayden and his best gal pal Scarlett after the big performance.

Lifegroup Christmas Party

We hosted our life group Christmas party this year and (hope not to offend anyone) we had an ugly sweater contest.

The gals looked beautiful as always!

The guys are such good sports...they dressed up too!

So Darren and I didn't wear sweaters but we did put together something festive that got a few giggles. Fun night...awesome group!!!
